Meet the Kindergarten Teachers

Bell Schedule
  • Music begins at 730 am.
  • Tardy bell rings at 745 am.
  • Monday and Tuesday parents will be allowed to
    walk their children into the building between
    730 and 745.
  • Beginning on Wednesday the students will go to
    the cafeteria until the music begins and then
    walk to their class once music plays over the
    intercom.
  • There will be teachers assigned throughout the
    hallway to assist them to there classrooms.

Dismissal
  • Dismissal is at 230pm.
  • Please be prompt
  • If students are not picked up by 240pm, they
    will be sent to the office.
  • The YWCA has an after school program that is
    available in the cafeteria starting at 230 if
    you are in need of daycare assistance.

Attendance
  • Please make sure students come to school
    everyday.
  • If your child is absent a written note must be
    sent to school within 48 hours of the students
    return to school in order to excuse an absence. 
    If a student is out for 3 consecutive days, a
    U.S. doctors note is required to excuse the
    absences. 
  • If your child comes to school but is pulled out
    before 1000am they will be marked absent for the
    entire day.
  • If you are bringing your child in late and after
    1000am, your child will still be counted absent
    (not tardy).

Raptor System
  • In order to enter the building you must have a
    valid ID and a printed visitors pass.
  • The raptor system is a security system used for
    the safety of your children to identify any
    individuals who may be on probation or convicted
    for child abuse or child molestation.

Cafeteria
  • Breakfast will be served in the classrooms
    everyday starting from 730am-745am.
  • Breakfast is free to all students
  • Lunch Application must be returned by all
    students no matter if they qualify or not.
  • Monitor your childs lunch account with
    www.mylunchmoney.com.

Uniform
  • Students are required to wear a
  • Royal Blue,Orange or White Polo Shirt.
  • Khaki or Black Docker-style slacks
  • Cargo pants or jumpers are
  • not allowed.
  • Universal District Uniform
  • White Polo Shirt
  • Khaki Pants

Volunteering
  • If you are interested in volunteering please fill
    out a volunteer form and return to Mr. Gomez
    -School Liaison.
  • If you are interested in participating in
    PTA-Contact
  • ?- PTA President
  • You must complete a volunteer form and be cleared
    by the District in order to
  • Chaperone on field trips.
  • Come in for Birthdays
  • To help out teacher in the classrooms
  • Parades, door decorations, stationary duties,
    bulletin boards, etc.

School behavioral expectations
  • Be able to sit for a minimum of 15-20 minutes
  • Keep hands and feet to themselves
  • Be able to sit at lunch in their own table, eat
    quietly in an orderly manner.
  • Follow the Golden Rule
  • One should treat others as one would like
    others to treat oneself
  • (Keep all toys at home)

School Rules
  • Listen when others are talking
  • Follow directions the first time
  • Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself
  • Work quietly and do not disturb others
  • Show respect to others, school and personal
    property.
  • Work and play in a safe manner
  • Fence climbing and rock throwing are automatic
    school suspensions. No verbal warnings.

A program designed to improve peer relations and
make the school and community a safer and
positive place for students learning and
development.

What is Bullying?
Bullying is when someone repeatedly and on
purpose says or does mean or hurtful things to
another person who has a hard time defending
themselves.

    available in the front office.
