• Shannon Donnelly

• Worked in banking for 6 years
• Third year at Stewarts Creek Middle School
• Cross country coach and assistant softball coach
• Moved from Santa Claus, Indiana
• Getting married in October, soon I will be Mrs.

Falcon Figures

• Falcon Figures allow students to review skills
  from the whole year.
• 1 week to complete10 problems per sheet
• Early check is every Wednesday.
• Falcon figures are due every Friday.
• Students will complete Falcon Figures for bell
  work, homework, class work, etc.

Word Wall

• Vocabulary words to help
• enhance math academic
• 25 words each Nine Weeks
• Each word defined in math composition notebook
• Tested over the words each 9 weeks on the 8th
  week (1st Word Wall test is the week of
  September 22-26)

Vocabulary is a matter of word-building as well

Composition Notebook

• Table of Contents
• Notes for every lesson (in order)
• 1 grade at the end of each nine weeks.
• Easy RESPONSIBILITY grade

School Wide Grading Policy

• Assessments 50
• Classwork 40
• Homework 10
• ALL students will have the opportunity to
  retake tests, whether they made a 62 or a 92.
  The retake must be done within 5 days after
  receiving the grade. The retake will cover the
  same skills, but in a different format. We will
  take the higher of the 2 grades.

School Wide Grading Policy

• Late work students have 5 days to turn in
  homework from the day it is due. After 5 days it
  becomes a 0.
• No extra credit
• Benchmark tests will be given at the end of each
  9 weeks and will count as a grade in the homework
  category (10)

• I send out emails throughout the year with
  information about what is going on in the
  classroom and at school
• I sent out an email on Monday, if you did not get
  the email or you would like me to put a different
  email address in, please send me an email with
  your information

Checking Grades Online

• We are in the process of implementing a new
  online gradebook program called INow. 
•  
• Parents and students will be getting a username
  and password and will be able to log in and check
  grades for all subjects in one place.  That
  information will be coming home soon.
