- Every student will be assigned a counselor
- Promote students success in academic, social,
and emotional areas - Career development for the student
- Post-secondary planning for the student
- Collaboration among parents, student, teachers,
and administrators

lunch hour, during study halls. Appointments are

- Math 3 years

- Social Studies 3 years
- Physical Education 3 semesters
- Health 1 semester
- Fine Art/Practical Art 1 semester
- Computers 1 semester
10 Four Year Colleges
- English Four years are required
- Social Studies Three years are required
- Math at least three years (four years
preferred) - Science at least three years (four years
preferred) - World Language Some colleges require 2 years.
More selective colleges prefer 3 to 4 years - Advanced Placement courses most taken in junior
and senior years

20Eighth Grade Conferences
- Call High School Counseling Office to reschedule
appointments if necessary. - Appointments are approximately 30 minutes.
- Remind student on day of appointment.
- Students should return to class as quickly as
possible.
