What does your child need to bring to school?
  • Backpack
  • To transport notes, newsletters, notices
  • A more specific supply list can vary from teacher
    to teacher and you will receive one from your
    childs teacher at Meet the Teacher on July 30.

UNIFORMS
  • Uniforms are required daily and consist of the
    following
  • Tops (tucked in)
  • With sleeves and collars
  • White, light blue, and navy
  • Bottoms
  • Navy pants, shorts, skirts, jumpers
  • EARLY RELEASE
  • students may wear red Tuscano Jaguar t-shirts in
    lieu of uniform shirts (available for purchase
    from the school office)
  • MONTHLY DOLLAR DRESS DOWN DAYS
  • OPTIONAL Students may bring 1.00 and do NOT
    have to wear a uniform to school that day. These
    dress down days are usually the last FRIDAY of
    each month.

  • Specific information regarding your childs
  • classroom (supplies, donations, etc.)

Kindergarten will be dismissed early the whole
FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL!
  • This is for kindergarten students ONLY (not older
    siblings).
  • They will be dismissed at 115 every day during
    first week.
  • Full day schedule begins the 2nd week of school
    (115 dismissal continues on Thursdays for
    whole school).

  • ATTENDANCE
  • Call the school office if your child is going to
    be absent at (623) 707-2300. If you know ahead
    of time that your child will be absent, notifying
    the teacher is helpful too.
  • DISMISSAL
  • ALWAYS write the teacher a note if your child is
    going home in a different way.
  • Kindergarten PICK UPS (this includes WALKERS) are
    dismissed from the designated kindergarten
    classroom(s), NOT from in the front of the school
    for safety reasons.
  • BUS RIDERS are numbered escorted to buses by
    teacher(s).
  • Tuscano DAYCARE picks up enrolled kindergartners
    from their classroom.
  • NOTE All persons picking up students MUST be on
    the
  • emergency card and will be asked to
    show identification





  • when they pick up a student

First Day of School Info
  • First day of school Monday, August 3, 2009
  • School Hours - 810 a.m.-300 p.m.
  • Breakfast begins at 745 a.m.
  • Playground coverage begins at 745 a.m please do
    not send your child to school before this time
    as they will be unsupervised. After the first
    school day, students go directly to the cafeteria
    (if they need breakfast), or the playground, when
    they arrive in the morning, and are
  • picked up by their teacher from the
  • playground when the bell rings.

What do I need to register my child?
  • Child must be 5 years old by August 31, 2009.
  • Current immunizations
  • Birth Certificate
  • Release of Records
  • Proof of Residency

Thank you for coming!
  • Please pick up a registration packet and we will
    be available to answer any questions you may
    have. Our teachers are each wearing a red
    kindergarten t-shirt, to be easily located.
  • Please return your registration packet AS SOON AS
    POSSIBLE, so we can begin developing tentative
    class lists.
