  • Does anyone exist in the world who has not
    experienced aches or pains at least once in their
    lifetime?
  • Most of the times, body aches happen as a symptom
    of any underlying diseases. Aches are usually
    harmless but helps to understand the causes of
    pain. The intensity may vary from condition to
    condition and also individual to individual.
  • Body aches can be easily identified and can be
    easily treated without help of a doctor. Pain may
    be sharp, intermittent or dull. Identifying the
    exact cause helps to find an appropriate remedy
    for pain.

What are the Cause of Aches
  • There may be many different reasons why body ache
    occurs. While most of the body aches are easily
    treatable, there are few serious diseases which
    needs medical care and attention.

  • Fibromyalgia
  • Fibromyalgia is condition that has symptoms like
    pain, fatigue, and muscle stiffness. Long term
    condition of fibromyalgia leads to aches and
    pains throughout the body.
  • Infections and viruses
  • Conditions like flu, common cold etc. may cause
    body aches. When such infections occur in the
    body, the body releases white blood cells, which
    has the power to fight against infections. This
    results in stiffness and ache in the muscles.
  • Medications
  • Certain medication and drugs such as BP
    medicines, statins, etc. can make the body fee
    sore, stiff and achy. Withdrawal symptoms of
    alcohol, certain drugs including cocaine, opium,
    can also produce similar effects.

    pains and cramps.

    triggering fluid retention. Congestive heart
    failure, liver cirrhosis, malnutrition, chronic
    kidney diseases and nephrotic syndrome can also
    result in fluid retention in the body.

    inflamed. Aches and pain are common in this

  • Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune condition
    which effects the central nervous system. The
    tissue around the nerve cells get damaged due to
    persistent inflammation. This results in aches
    and pains in the body.

1. Cold Compress
  • Apply an ice pack over the aching areas. Give
    gentle massage and leave it for 10minutes. Repeat
    this for 3 times a day.
  • A cold pack or compress helps to reduce the aches
    by reducing the nerve activity in the affected
    area. Its eliminates the inflammation over the
    area and provides quick relief from body ache.

2. Ginger
  • Take fresh ginger root, peel and clean it. Cut
    into small pieces. Squeeze these ginger pieces
    and boil in the water. After boiling allow it to
    become warm and add some honey into it and
    consume.
  • Ginger is a very good anti-inflammatory and
    analgesic drugs. It has rich component in it
    which acts on the body and keeps it healthy.

  • Add cinnamon to a glass of warm water and stir it
    well. Add honey to it and consume.
  • Cinnamon is a supreme spice which is used in
    culinary items. It is a potent drug which has
    significant anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and
    healing properties.

  • An authentic body massage helps in relieving the
    tensions in the muscle and thereby relieving the
    pain. Scientific studies have given evidences
    that massage therapy, helps to reduce pain when
    compared to set of individuals who has taken no
    treatment for pain.

  • Take warm mustard oil and apply over the area of
    aches and massage gently.
  • Leave it for 30-40mins and take shower in hot
    water. Apply this daily until the aches are
    cured.
  • A mustard oil massage is a great way to fight
    against body aches. Mustard oil has compound
    allyl isothiocyanate which helps the body to get
    rid of inflammation and aches.
