A BRIEF HISTORY

• The source of Banjar Hot Springs was built around
  hundreds of years ago. The three pools have been
  developed since the Japanese occupation in
  Indonesia, to get the water for bath. The
  Japanese also built their military resort around
  this area.
• The hot water contains brimstone to heal the skin
  problems. It was built by Japanese but it is now
  used by public. Along with it, this place is also
  opened for tourists to swim and bath in hot pool
  with the scenic views of waterfall.

GETTING THERE

• Located a few miles towards the southwest of
  Lovina, Banjar Hot Springs are located in the
  hills around Banjar village in north Bali. You
  can self-drive to Lovina or book a private driver
  to stay there.
• The Ngurah Rai International Airport is the
  nearest airport, which is around 4 hours of drive
  away. So, you need to hire a cab to get there
  from south Bali.

NOTES

• Banjar Hot Springs welcomes the people of all
  ages, whether families, adults and older kids.
  However, you should limit the time in the hot
  water for kids below 5 years.
• The water temperature remains around 38C.
• You can buy swimwear and towels at the hot
  springs or carry your own.
• You have to climb the stairs to get here. It is
  not wheelchair accessible.
