  the Indian Mythology we came to know that Sage
  Vashishta (One of the seven great sages or
  Saptarishi) with his wife Arundhati, after the
  death of their children, has visited the place to
  commit suicide in the Ganges but Goddess Ganga
  refused them to do so. In order to overcome the
  sorrow of children's death Sage
  VashishtaArundhati did penance here for
  thousands of years.Blessed with the divinity of
  "Lord Shiva" this place is considered best to
