• Most people realize that the New Testament
  reports about the words of Jesus were written by
  human beings attempting to capture the life and
  teachings of Jesus many years after his death.
  The also realize that in the process of hand
  recording and copying many scribal and
  translational errors were introduced. What is not
  generally understood, however, is that individual
  evangelists and sects actually altered the words
  and actions of Jesus to suit their own purposes.

Crusaders Conquer Jerusalem
The Crusaders captured Jerusalem in 1099. Pope
Urban II called for a Crusade at the Council of
Clermont in 1095. This was brought about by the
Destruction of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher
by Caliph Al-Hakim in 1009 and Muslim pressure on

• The Passover Plot was written by
• Dr. Hugh J. Schonfield in 1965
• Theme Jesus of Nazareth, believing he was the
  Jewish Messiah, contrived to be arrested on the
  eve of Passover, knowing he would be crucified
  but taken of the cross (after 3 hours) by sundown
  before the Jewish Sabbath, instead of a drink of
  vinegar, he was given a drug potion making him
  appear in a deathlike trance, taken to a tomb,
  later removed from the tomb, nursed back to
  health by his disciples, then resurrected to
  fulfill the Messianic prophecies.
